Not So Scary Halloween!!

Wow where has the month of October gone?????  Halloween bows are my favorite bows to make, and I have not even had time to post one yet! This particular bow is for my BOO NIECE Shelbee who was born on Halloween! Although we will not be in Disney World on Halloween I just had to make her this bow because we love Disney that much! She of course has a set of pigtails but I just took the picture of the one!

Hope you enjoy!!

This is the Tatum bow! A few months back I had major bow block, and asked Jessica (Tatum's mommy) to help me put some colors together, and these are the colors she came up with, I wasn’t sure at first, but now I think that it turned out amazing!!!

CF WALK!!!!

WOW it has been a long time since I have blogged anything! I promise to be better about that!

So lets start things off with the CF walk with  TEAM SPARKLES! We had a great time, lots of people showed up! Jessica put two mix matched shoes on Tatum Jo, which started the morning off!Foster got to meet the chik-fil-a cow, he loved him which we are sooo happy about since we are taking Foster to Disney World in November and we don’t want him terrified of the characters!  Right at the beginning of the walk Shelbee fell and we ended up putting her in the stroller and having to carry Foster for about a mile and a half, but for a good cause so it was O.K.!

Foster did not want to have his picture taken, but don’t all the girls look just too cute!!

Cherry Onesie & Hair Bow

This was a special order! I have never done 1. a cherry shirt & 2. ruffles on the bottom of a onesie, but I really love how it turned out! She of course had to have a bow to match it and it turned out really cute. I haven't made a cherry bow in forever, making one again means that summer is upon us! Hope you enjoy them!

Chloes Birthday

Chloe is 6!!!
WOW where does the time go......................Chloe is already 6 I can't believe it. Now that she is getting older it is getting harder and harder for me to decide what to get her for her birthday. Trust me when I say she does not need any toys (you should see her room), her mom just went out and bought her summer wardrobe, and I do not give hair bows to my nieces for their birthdays or Christmas unless I am asked to or I give them clothes (they get bows all year long so I try to do something special)! Chris and I decided to get her a scrabble tile necklace from Sparkles and she loved it.

my awesome netbook

The Netbooks!!!

Well it has been a while but I am trying to get caught up. Here is a picture of my awesome netbook that Jessica (owner of Sparkles) blinged out for me!! Doesn't it rock!! She also blinged Carmen's for her. Jessica is so awesome at stuff like this. The pictures really do not do them justice!

BOTTLES

Bottles....................well I hate them! If you know me then you know that I really dislike bottles. "If I were rich I would never wash a bottle again" direct quote from me on to many occasions to count, but of course I am not rich and continued washing bottles because I love Foster more than anything. If I could count the hours I have stood in front of the sink washing bottles, well it would be alot. We went through probably 15 different types of bottles trying to find the right one for Foster. In the hospital alone we tried at least 8 or 9 (he wouldn't eat had to be on a feeding tube for 7 days). Then switched because we went to BPA free bottles then decided we didn't like those bottles and switched to another BPA free bottle it was a long process! Needless to say bottle are my nemesis! And today the day had come, the last time to wash bottles Foster is turning one tomorrow, and we had completely taken him off the bottle today. In my head I had imagined this day many times, and it included a little song that went a little something like......no more washing bottles, not more washing bottles(put your own tune to it), and of course a little dance, and maybe some fireworks. But for some reason, instead of singing one tear ran down my face and then another and another. I was crying, why was this happening I should be ecstatic. My little boy, my doodle was no longer a baby, there would be not more bottles, no more nasty formula mixing, no more crazy spitting up, not more burping him..............how did this happen, where had the year gone?

And now more than ever after all of my hating bottles and washing bottles, all I want is a few more bottles, I want to lay him on my chest and burp him, I wouldn't even mind the spitting up.................................more than anything all I want is a few more bottles!

Fun in a Fish Bowl

O.K. this is my newest hair bow, and I absolutely love it. It is called fun in a fish bowl , and it was inspired by a shirt I saw that was orange and had a yellow gold fish appliqued on it( I really want that shirt and will probably get it)! I have been having bow block ( kind of like writers block) and all of a sudden this one hit me like a ton of bows............hahahaha! I hope everyone loves it, I know that I do!

Disney World Pictures

Recently two of my nieces (Chloe &Shelbee) went to Disney World, and I made them some bows. These are just a few of the pictures. CARMEN needs to send me some more so that I can post them. I really love the Tinkerbell korker bows I made to match their shirts! From what I hear they received alot of compliments on these bows, even from a few princesses ;)! I will post more pictures later.

Foster

I have talked about my son a few times on the blog, but I feel so bad because I havent posted anything about him. So I am now introducing Foster to my blogging community! Foster is an amazing little boy, I could not have asked for a better son. I love being a mommy. When people tell you that it goes by fast it does he is already nearly a year old! My husband says that he has my attitude(he does), but he looks just like his handsome daddy! He is trying to walk, don't think I am ready for that, and he loves to give high fives. Anyways I love him, and will post more about him later!

Tiffany and Company Hair Bow and TuTu

Ok so maybe we all can't afford Tiffany and Co.( I know that I can't), but who doesnt love those little boxes and the colors of them. Well here are two of my newest items the Tiffany and Company Hair Bow and TuTu. The bow can be made in small or large just like all my other ones, the great thing about this bow is that it has a rhinestone right in the middle of it to give it the perfect amount of sparkle. The TuTu has a white satin ribbon that ties in the back making a cute bow, and then throughout the tutu are crystals that glitter when you move. I love this, and trust me so will you!

*And the Laziest Blogger Award Goes To........ME*

yup that's right. I swear I am The worst blogger, and I am really trying to work on that. It feels like every time I sit down to blog either the phone rings, or Foster starts crying, or I get distracted googling something, or....................well lets just say that I can come up with many more excuses( that is a talent of mine)! So much has been going on. It seems like I am always busy, between the hair bow party then Zack's birthday, working at sparkles, making hair bows, playing with Foster, trying to spend some alone time with my husband, and now planning Fosters first birthday party I am always busy. I wish time would just slow down!!! I can't believe Foster is almost one! I have so much left to do for his party but i know between me, Vanessa, Jessica, and Carmen maybe we can get it all done. His pictures turned out so amazing i can't wait to go get to view them. Well gotta go Foster is crying( really he is)!

Everything Happens For A Reason

Have you noticed how everything happens for a reason? Well I have. When I had Foster I had been on bed rest for two months and really was not making hair bows anymore even though I absolutely loved to make them, I just wasn't working and couldn't display my bows any more so I just figured that the days of selling my bows were over and I would just make them for my nieces and if I ever have a little girl for her. I prayed about it and just put it in Gods hands if he wanted me to make them then he would find a way for me to make them. Well Chris and I went to ggallery to get Fosters newborn pictures taken and while we were there I saw a cute picture of a little girl in a hat with a pink flower on it and I remember saying "this is why I want to have a girl someday so I can dress her up", and we started talking about the fact that I make hair bows. They asked me to bring some up there and I did. Well a few weeks later I get a phone call from a girl named Jessica Johnston who is about to open a boutique in flint called Sparkles and she needed some bows and she had seen mine at ggallery and she loved them. We got to talking and we found out that she had been praying to be able to find some bows, and I have been praying to find a place to sell my bows and make some extra money for my family since I am now a stay at home mom. Every time Jessica and I talked it was never less than an hour. Chris jokes around saying there is no "just Running in to Sparkles". Well Jessica and I became good friends and while I was over at her house the other day I saw the picture that I had seen at Ggallery, I thought that it looked like Tatum(her daughter) but didn't want to say anything in case I was wrong, and I was like that is the picture that started us to talk about bows and it was your daughter. Everything happens for a reason. I saw that picture of Tatum because God new that I was supposed to meet Jessica to help me and her. I have found a great friend and a great job ( I work at Sparkles now part time) all because of one picture. I love you Jessica and Tatum!
